How old are most Mormon kids that do baptisms for the dead

How old are most Mormon kids that do baptisms for the dead? Is it just 12-14 year olds that go on temple trips to do baptisms or is it 12-16 year olds or do the 16-18 year olds go on these trips too? I never did them as a kid. It seems like the older kids don't go on the temple baptisms for the dead trips. Do they?

My experience has been that they're typically twelve to seventeen, though the sixteen- and seventeen-year-olds may be a bit more adept at conjuring up excuses to avoid it.

I was doing baptisms for the dead from ages 12 to about 17 or 18 if I remember correct. Then again, the later years could have been southeast Idaho trying to outdo Utah for Morg activities.
