In answer to a closed question which wouldn't take any more posts:

Probable spelled these 'words' wrong, but the meaning is,
"Oh God, hear the words of my mouth".

Why does the Adamic language have to specify "words of my mouth?"
Isn't that really redundant? Shouldn't it properly be "hear my words?" What other words does a person have?
Who is going to say, O God hear the words of my armpit?
Although with JS "the words of my anus" might apply because that guy was always talking out of his butt.

If you are giving instructions to Ace Ventura you would have
to be specific as to whether to speak from your mouth or your butt. For all others, no.

What's wrong with just, "Hey God, it's me."

Actually I think Hasa Diga Eebowai is more effective.

I thought he was saying, "Pale Ale, anyone?"

But my hearing isn't what it used to be. That's why I like to view life with closed captions.

Lay= command to a dog, be obedient.
El= needs a 3rd syllable for heft(;-)
Just keep this running in your head.

When I joined a protest (against CA Prop 8) outside of the Oakland temple my sign said "Pay Lay Ale - Discrimination will fail". I thought it was a good chant.

Correct spelling is pale ale. I guess the pronunciation is derived from Yosemite.

Its like translating the book of mormonion, one word or symbol means many words. Pay means give me all your money, lay well you know what this means, ale, we wish we could drink alcohol. Or in mormon translation, Pay- oh god, hear, lay- the words of, ale- my mouth. Yeeep makes total sense.

Because of the Utah accent, I was never completely sure if it was supposed to be El, or Ale. It if was really that important, they should have made it very clear, wouldn't ya think?
