All this talk about my teeth lately has me wondering... Is it against the WoW for Mormons to use mouthwash with alcohol in it? How about OTC drugs with booze?

The hygienist had me swish with mouthwash before she cleaned my teeth and I'm pretty sure it had alcohol in it.

I always used NyQuil when I had a cold as a TBM, even though I knew there was alcohol in it.

In my experience, most TBMs are able to just ignore stuff like that.

Yeah, but my husband told me stories about Mormons who won't even allow alcohol in their house. He worked with one Army colonel who was LDS and someone brought wine to a gathering, not knowing the colonel's religious preferences. Instead of graciously accepting the wine and regifting it or something, the guy doesn't even let the wine bearer in his home.

I guess Mormons don't have a problem with medicinal alcohol... and some of them have no qualms about humiliating well meaning co-workers, either.

I had a companion on the mission that wouldn't brush his teeth or use mouth wash on fast sunday...Fun times...
