I found this interesting comment, on You Tube music, for the song "Even In The Questest Moments" by the Supertramp:
"...Soon, the celestial music being perceived and heard, there came the evocation of Pronoia, First Mind... with Beauty came the Seasons differentiation; Night and Day... and with human experience acquiring depth, breadth and subliminity, She became also Pronoia Sambacthas..." Spoken like a true Gnostic!
The song is very spiritual- in fact, I think it hints at some experience of Sugmad Realization, as Paul Twitchell called this highest form of physical reality enlightenment- perhaps imparted during the days of Jesus; many of us were actually there! Concerning such realization, "Wheels within wheels within wheels; games within games within games" refers to it aslo I think, words of Menlo MacFarlane, head of the IDHHB on a tape, "Bardo Dreams" I think!

OK.

I bought that title song album when it came out. I'm a big Supertramp fan.

I never thought of it as "spiritual."
Self-reflective? Sure.
Longing for a loved one? Sure.

I guess that's one of the great things about a great song -- it can mean different things to different people :)

And even though the stars are listening
And the ocean's deep, I just go to sleep
And then I create a silent movie
You become the star, is that what you are, dear?
Your whisper tells a secret
Your laughter brings me joy
And a wonder of feeling I'm nature's own little boy
But still the tears keep falling
They're raining from the sky
Well there's a lot of me got to go under before I get high

"Babaji," on the other hand (same album)...

There are lots of spiritual popular songs by Pete Townshend, McCartney/Lennon, and Pink Floyd. What is about the Brits?
