I don't think a modern day J. Golden Kimball could exist, because he would never be groomed to get the position to start with, and would likely be inactive or ex mo. with his outlook before he even started the path.

Perhaps one will be created? While the Q15 may have disapproved of JGK, and shook their heads at the sound of his name, he did the organization a huge service by giving ChurchCo a human face, while at the same time as sustaining the Q15 and supporting the claims it made.

What other Seventy from the 1920s is still constantly referred to and adored?

Yes, when I am finally called.

But I just might not agree to serve. That's how down to earth I am.

I'll see you in hell, E.O.D.! I'm supposed to be the first down to earth GA. I have homespun stories and all kinds of stuff ready.

Okay, the truth: No!

Because mediocre managers promote mediocre employees, for fear of being shown up.

There has never been one, and there most likely never will be.

When they call a woman to be a GA. Maybe Henry is close enough.

Ya, he was down to earth. He seemed to avoid the extravagant Mormon truth claims in favor of more practical advice.
