We are fine but emotionally stressed. No members of my family were there but it is too early to learn whether or not people we know are affected. So sad today.
I have nieces in the area (both OK, I'm glad to say - a bit too old for Ariana Grande, I'm glad to say).
But all the witnesses interviewed have exactly the same accent as my nieces (I don't - I'm afraid my accent is a bit posh) which really brought it home to me.
We've been to the Arena many times in the past (Taylor Swift, Imagine Dragons, children's choir concerts etc) and I'm sickened and disgusted (but not surprised) at what's happened.
We keep being told to carry on as usual, but we just feel expendable to the British government - and try to keep away from high profile crowded venues like the Arena and Trafford Centre. Love to all x.
Last night before I went to bed there were many children still missing. Those aren't the ones who've been counted yet among the injured or the deceased.
Big hugs to all in the UK, and to all who have experienced the brutality of attack. May the people of Manchester come together for n community as you mourn for your friends and loved ones.
