For some people, facts don't matter anymore.
If you believe in conspiracies, you can make up your own facts and decide what your "reality" is -- no matter how unrealistic that reality may be.

Reality, what a concept!

Can something be true if it is not real? The LDS cult built an empire by plagiarizing and twisting Biblical material. JS was a charismatic megalomaniac and sexual deviant pretending to be "The Prophet of the Restoration."

Out of a deep need to know the truth about God and purpose of life, I drank the Kool-aid in 1974. I wonder if our deep needs set us up to accept whatever reality feels good even if it only has the appearance of truth?

How many realities are there?
Seems we fall for wolves dressed like sheep and get bitten often. JS committed identify theft of a prophet for gain and his family are keeping that alt-reality going throught the cult.

There must be a need, because religion arises in every culture. It could be beneficial if used wisely. Joe used it purely for power and control, and to live the good life without actually doing anything. It was just our bad luck that a character like Brigham Young was converted. I think Joey turned him to the dark side and taught him everything he knew. Mormonism burns many people so badly they never touch religion again.

Reality likes to turn around and bite you in the ass.

Where is the proof that reality is even real?
