Is Uinta County Republican Party Chairwoman Lisa Eyre also a mormon? She certainly is defending Jaggi. In fact, unlike Jaggi who denies having said "Injun," Eyre claims that "Injun" is not a slur!
From the comments below the Wyoming newspaper article:
I know people on that rez, many in their family live on the rez in my town in California and are good friends. The Spoonhunter's, around 2000 of them on the Northern Arapaho rez, a few hundred in the Valley I reside in..
This racist POS has also been involved in allowing fracking to destroy the water for many towns on that rez...one of the best known is Pavillion where no one will ever drink the water there ever again....[...] [end excerpt from readers' comments]
Sounds like Jaggi has financial connections to the companies that have been fracking on or near the Indian reservations.

He made a racial slur. That doesn't necessarily mean that he is a racist but his Mormonism is showing. He denies doing it and another Mormon defending him denies that it is a slur.

So what you are saying is that making racial slurs does not
make one a racist? How do you know he is not a racist? how do

Racists make racial slurs. People who are not racists don't.
And some ignorant Mormons say stupid things but are probably not racist. I do not know if he is or isn't.
I would much rather discuss his Mormonism, because that doctrine does teach racist ideas. He has been influenced by the Book of Mormon all of his life. He has been taught that American Indians are descendants of wicked and evil people, that they need to become Mormon for their curse to be removed. He has been taught that Columbus was inspired from god and that Europeans were blessed from god to take the lands that were already occupied.
I would much rather discuss his denial that he said it while another Mormon is claiming that even if he said it, it wasn't even a slur.
I would also like to discuss how he thinks he can square his religious beliefs and teachings about "nursing fathers and nursing mothers" with his efforts to stop the bill that would benefit the medical care of Wyoming's enrolled tribal members.
I'd also like to see a discussion about how he thinks they will be taken care of when the facts show that federal funding for Indian Health Care is as low as 50% and only emergency care is available at many IHC facilities. His elected position in government gives him the opportunity to help, but he took to the floor to try to stop the bill.
All these issues are more productive to discuss than whether or not he is a racist.

Go ahead... you chose what you think is more important and I'll chose for myself what I discuss.
