D. Michael Quinn, in his book The Mormon Hierarchy: Extensions of Power, said that ETB was reprimanded by SWK for his “14 Fundamentals of Following the Prophet” speech that he gave at BYU.

Since this talk is the bases for lesson 11 in the upcoming “Teachings of ETB” manual, I’m looking for some more TBM friendly references I could use to let the class know that this talk was NOT well received by SWK. Could you please point me to other references (if any) of the fallout that ETB received from giving this talk?

When the speech was originally delivered, the Provo "Daily Herald" (if I recall correctly) reported on the blowback it received from the First Presidency.
