They are well protected in SLC

In SLC, they are worshiped as gods. And they love it!

...for a while, like Holland in Chile and Oaks in the Philippines.

In Utah they are worshiped like gods, and fawned all over every time they go out, AND they have the Mormon mafia [church security] to watch out for them.

If they lived anywhere else, who would care that their next door neighbor was a Cult apostle?? They could go to the store, and not be recognized. They could take their car in for repairs and not be recognized. They could go to the doctor or dentist and not be recognized.

Cult apostles have worked their way up through the ranks for decades (their entire life) to get where they are, and attract a certain personality type. They LIVE for the adoration and the sense of POWER they get from it. Living in SLC after a lifetime of brown-nosing is their reward to get the acclaim and adoration they "deserve" as future gods of their own planets.

Someone does the shopping errands for them. They are totally out of touch with what life is like for the average person.

Because the Apostles live IN the areas that they serve and represent, these two have not had their pictures published in order to protect them and their congregations.

Some places in the world are not safe to worship as you see fit.

So it just makes me wonder why these men don't live in other parts of the world? Even Utchdorf moved from his home country to live in SLC when he was called.
