I have started noticing that on the days I drive by there are always white cars in the parking lot. The cars remind me of the cheap stuff missionaries would drive. Could it be the missionaries are sitting at the cult buildings waiting for someone to walk in a say "Show me this beautiful building"?

I think I will drive by today just to exercise my middle finger.

Well, it's not the janitor, that's for sure...

I thought I was the only one whose middle finger can't stay lowered when passing a mormon church. Hm. Guess I'm not alone :)

I also am cursed with the Mormon building twitch. My middle finger rises to attention whenever I pass one. Once in a while I give it a inverse peace sign to pass on the love the Brit's gave to me during my mission.

Oh I do it all the time! Especially past our McTemple and Steak Center. It's right on my way home from work.

And I also yell "your wasting you time and money" (you stupid sheeple).

Whenever I visit the State Liquor Store(god bless our nanny state) I change my route just enough to drive past the temple going home. I symbolically toast the temple then give it the middle finger.

Yeah, it may be childish but it's also very therapeutic.

I do the same thing on my way back home from stocking up in Evanston/Wendover! Agreed, it is therapeutic.

I've done the same thing for years (here in Utard).
I don't know that it's childish or therapeutic.
I'm pretty sure when I raise that middle finger it's done with malicious intent.

It is very possible that missionaries are in the building online
doing "chat with a Mormon missionary." Door-to-door tracting is
pretty much being phased out.

That's too bad they are phasing door-to-door contacting. You can't believe how physically fit I was after my mission from climbing the stairs of giant apartment buildings in France! My legs were as hard as tree trunks from muscle development. I consider that about the most productive thing from my mission next to riding my bike up mountainsides. Nobody ever answered their doors but it saved me doing workouts on P-Day.

Work-out on P-day... What is this work-out business? I never had workout days.

It must of been those fat missionaries that got fed food from members and rode in cars. These rumors I hear from some areas where they were fed by a different member every night.

Bike, bus, or foot was all I had. Some area's we got fed once or twice a month. The good areas we were fed every other week by two or three families.

Oh, yeah -- megabats with no ascenseurs.
All us France missionaries had the thighs of gods...:)

White is the most popular new car color. But yes I've noticed that the vehicles a cult parking lot are a couple classes below what's parked at Costco, especially on Sundays.
