All the debate regarding the possible existence of Jesus is meaningless. The more fundamental question is does it really matter.
Jesus, as quoted in the new testament, doesn't present any new wisdom or teachings and about a dozen claimed "saviors" of mankind came before him. Paul's invented Christ would not be recognizable to those who may have known the so-called Jesus of Nazareth during his lifetime.
To paraphrase Fawn Brodie, Paul, like Joseph Smith, was a "mythmaker of prodigious talent".

God/Universe/Sources answer ------ no Fall, no atonement necessary, no Christ (as in bible or BoM). Definitely NO NEED to FEAR (religion in general).
However, there is a God/Source for us, we are eternal spiritual/electrical beings currently in a physical body, no death, no resurrection (we don't need these bodies forever), reincarnation on earth and other planets as human or other than human and different dimensions. Prayer and meditation work!
Enjoy life now and don't worry! You have a lot of time left to learn or experience whatever you need to!
