First Friday in a while we haven't been up to our arses in alligators and Wouldn't you know it? Beloved is under the weather. SHEESH!

We'll be dining in this evening. Some cold Bud and Mich-Ultra in the frige. Might break-out the Rum and Egg-Nog. That'll put some steam in yer stride!

Party on, Mates!

I'm at work--medical office in a factory, and it's mellow, because they are on plant shut down--except for cleaners and painters. So it's dull dull dull. Unless someone gets hurt, or has a headache. Or a cold.

So all I can drink is Diet Pepsi, water and RockStar.

Must put in a movie.

Getting some Bacardi this weekend, I think.

I just bought $300 worth of booze this morning...so my choices are varied this evening but I just brought in Shocktop and a Pig's Ass Porter (Harvest Brewing, Belt, MT) so those will get drunk first.

My 82 year old neighbors are coming over for cocktails. This should be interesting. I'm pretty sure he drinks Grey Goose straight up. I'll be having a glass of red wine.

Husband is out of town on business so just coffee, I don't like drinking alone or drinking when I am the only adult around. God forbid something happens I need to be able to drive.

I've been to a fair number of hot tub parties...as well as social events where hot tubs were a normal part of what was otherwise going on...and I was always told (seemingly, by "everyone") that alcohol intake of any kind has to be moderated (sometimes considerably, depending on the person and their medical situation) if you're going to be, or ARE, immersed in a hot tub.

I don't remember what the physiological details were, only that alcohol and hot tubs can be a dangerous combination if not moderated, and if a given individual's medical situation is not taken into consideration.

I don't think eggnog is going to go over most anybody's threshold (however: I don't drink eggnog...and I also just don't know), but I thought it would be wise to reaffirm the received wisdom of those who DO know that hot tubs and alcohol intake always need to be wisely considered when in combination with each other.

Okay...now that the warning has been voiced...

Party on!!! :)
