Work Christmas party have drunk 3 pints so far two pale ales one IPA by Toshi Ishii. Will up later. Now off to eat Indian meal.

Holidays start in this home at 4:30 tonight. To prepare we went to a shop with an extensive wine collection and spent far too much, but boy did we have fun. We played a game wherein we each chose three bottles from eight different countries. One low-end, one middle-end and one high-end from each country. So, tonight:

wine. We will be drinking wine. Which kind and from where is yet to be determined.

I will be having plenty of red wine tonight as well.

Well, not too plenty since I do have to get up early tomorrow.

IPA's are so bitter. If your gonna go bitter I say at least go for spirits right away. It is quicker

That's why I like them. Bitter is better! ;o))

Update, I had several pints of Kingfisher and one pint of Cobra (both Indian beers) with my Indian meal and some Peter & Peter German Riesling with some Christmas cake (home made by my wife) as my wife wanted a chat and a drink when I got home.

Hangover? Well, not really, oddly enough. ;o))

Love that Peter & Paul Riesling, Matt. I stock up whenever Tesco knock a couple of quid off, which they seem to do every so often.

Tesco is the only outlet for it in th UK, apparently.

I believe that's what is now referred to as pre-gaming.

They call it pre-loading in the UK. Like you say, gotta keep up with the slang! ;o))
