"Other projections are speculative and do not reflect an understanding of how the church uses its income to bless the lives of people,"

Church spokesman Michael Purdy

He might just be a liar.

Maybe they are helping Alan Osmond by funding "The Plan 2."

I can tell you one place it is NOT going -- it is NOT going to help any of the many struggling members of the church out here in the southeast part of the United States.

People who have paid tithing for decades, suddenly find themselves out of work, or facing costly illnesses -- find no help at all.

I know one couple -- he's 65 with two bad knees that need to be replaced, she's a year or two younger, but with both cancer and diabetes -- and they get NO HELP AT ALL, after decades of paying tithing and fast offerings. The church doesn't even bother to send them home or visiting teachers, or send the missionaries to look in on them.

They try to grow alot of their own food, and could use a little help in the garden every now and them. Idle missionaries really could help them, and in return, the wife - a great cook - would probably cook them a homecooked meal or two that they'd remember fondly years after their missions were ended.

But nobody helps them, and so they keep struggling along, alone...

And they are just one family among the many, that the local LDS ward does nothing to try and help.

"The church uses its income to bless the lives of people" That's like saying government uses its income to bless the lives of people. Both gain their money from the people they claim to bless. The church at least invests money, but interest from that money does not go back to bless the members.

It doesn't. The money is used to propagate just another stupid culture. TSCC thinks it has the truth so it has stopped looking. They just repeat the same mantra year after year, selling people on their twisted dogma. But there's only one word for a culture that stops looking for truth: stupid.

LDS Inc's MORmON church has taken thousands and thousands of dollars from my family in tithing offerings. When my MORmON family members are finally destitute due to the failing economy and having given all their reserves to the blood sucking MORmON religion, then they will be able to live in a City Creek Mall Condominium for free due to their faithFOOLness, ( and IF you believe that then you are damn dumb enough to be a Real MORmON ! )

My MORmON church got ten percent of my gross income, and I got a church calling / position, ( and some STUPID secret handshakes that I can not talk about) because I'm a (faithFOOL) MORmON !!!!!

this video explains it
