Mormonism ridiculed on "Alpha House"

Does anyone else here watch the sitcom called "Alpha House" on Amazon Prime instant video? One of the main characters is Nevada Senator Louis Laffer (played by Matt Malloy), a devout and clueless Mormon. He is always made to look stupid, uncool and homophobic.

In season 2, Penn Jillette (playing himself) runs against Laffer for his senate seat. I just watched Season 2 / Episode 3. Penn makes a brief appearance and nearly everything he says is about how ridiculous and false Mormonism is and how a politician who believes in Mormonism can't be trusted. Comedy gold!

I've listened to a few eps but just kind of ran out of time to listen to all the podcasts I'd like to.

I found the character of Laffer's daughter and his aid 'soaking' to be absolutely hilarious :)
