Utah State shooting threat for feminist "gamergater"

Anita Sarkeesian, the female gamer who started the flame war called "gamergate" was scheduled to speak at Utah State.

Alas, she was trying to complain about the male dominated women-as-playthings abuse-promoting video game culture, which she said is male dominated and treats women as male entertainment.

Perhaps if that were not also the case at Utah State, she could have spoken.

I think the underlying reason she chose not to speak at the school was a not so subtle message in reference to Utah's treatment of women.

She received a death threat. She talked about it on "The Colbert Report.
