The land of the Lammanites has been found in Africa. Nephi and his family had sailed the wrong direction and landed in Africa. There is no doubt This Is The Place.

Slave traders had raided the last remaining Lammanites and sold them as slaves to the Muslim Brotherhood as real jews. The Slave Traders gathered all the gold plates and swords and sailed to the New World where they traveled for months and buried their loot on the side of hill.

Through the gift and power of God plus magical olive oil, Joesph Smith found the gold of the slave traders.

Actually, there was some guy posting here a few years back seriously claiming the BoM took place in Africa.

A few things make a lamanite migration to Africa a distinct possibility:
- Based on current growth rates, TSCC is going to exist mainly in Africa in about 100 years time.
- Africa is already home to the ark of the covenant, so being home to a mormon concept is a possibility.
- African geography, animals, people and culture match the BOM just as well as the Americas do.
- The hill Cumorah has already displayed its ability to move. Does it make any difference whether it was really in central America or central Africa?
- American Indians aren't fooling anyone... it is native Africans who have the dark skin of the BOM ;)
- Central and south Americans have had their chance to "blossom as a rose". JC hasn't arrived yet so the conversion of a new people must be what was meant by the prophecy.
- Adam-ondi-amon being in Africa fits better with a local flood.
- Africa is much closer to the Arabian peninsula than the new world, and therefore makes a more plausible sea journey.
- A group of Jews traveling to Africa has actually happened and is therefore plausible to non-believers.
- With TSCC admitting the rock in the hat story, who is to say that the BOM is not a true translation of a different book to the one inscribed on the gold plates that were found in America?
- Reformed Egyptian is a more plausible language in an African setting.

But Joesph Smith said the Garden of Eden was in Missouri. It is a well known fact the Prophet Joesph Smith would change the names of people and places to protect them from enemies of the church. Modern Day revelation has revealed the true location of the Garden of Eden is in Africa.

The Lord has revealed through his modern day prophets the location where the Book of Mormon has always been Africa.

Christ will return to Africa not Salt Lake City. When the earth was one piece before it split, all things of God happened in what is now Africa.

The Church has sent missionaries to Africa to prepare the people there to be obedient servants to gods chosen leaders. Members who move to Africa will help prepare Africa for the migration of the Lord's chosen. Those that stay behind in Utah will burn to death in the heat. I feel the spirit reading these words spoken to us by a modern prophet.
