so, my wife apparently is on the ward mailing list still (she hasn't been in 5 years). today she got an email from the church about an upcoming event and it was CC'd to the entire ward.

I thought to myself, hmmm, they didn't hide any of the email addresses...What if I created an email account entitled "X Ward Gospel Doctrine" and sent and email to all of these people (of course I would bcc them so the powers couldn't tell who received it). The email would say, "Please read the attached document and come prepared to discuss it at a very special GD meeting this sunday."

The attachment would be the Letter to a CES President.

Yes, do it. The CES Letter is a great eye opener for TBMs.

Diabolically brilliant! Do it! Bwa-ha-ha-ha! The Mormons to to great expense to advertise and promote their beliefs, so why not do it back to them. The only difference, is that it's not going to cost you a dime.

If you're really going to do this , though, maybe email just a few pages with the link to the rest (my faves are the pages disputing BOM accuracy - the map and the names). I doubt many of them will download 70 pages and read it.

I'd say go for the shock effect... maybe a definition of "polyandry", Helen Mar Kimball and a link to wivesofjosephsmith.org.

Then maybe a lesson treasure seeking and BoM translation.

The BoA may be a good one too.
