Tom Phillips has not been excommunicated. What does that say?

He really did have the second anointing.

Other wise they would have exed him by now.

Wouldn't they have ex'd him for talking about it either way? I don't think they want to bring any attention to his story...most TBM's have never heard of him or the 2nd anointing.

I thought you couldn't be exed after the 2nd anointing, except for denying the holy ghost? If he hasn't explicitly denied The Scary One, then there are no grounds AFAIK.

Exing him would open up a huge can of worms they do not want opened.

Tom is coming in with an industrial can opener.

Keep your eyes open kids, this is going to get very interesting.

I would be interested to know if cash were offered to Tom just to go away, and how much.

That is what LDS Inc would value their company at.

According to their own stupid rules, now he has to commit murder or something of that magnitude to get ex'd. This is because of the 2nd anointing.
