Is Gladys Knight still a member?

Just wondering if GK is still a member, not seen her out and about doing the fireside circuit recently and wonder if someone had helped her see some of the issues with her new found religion.

She would be a great person to have as a exmo!

Her conversion story was published in January in an LDS magazine, so I am thinking unless something happened very recently, she's likely still TBM.

Funny, DH just asked me this the other night. I assume so. Last I heard she was still heading up the choir. She has a (or had last I heard) nightly in Vegas, so, she may just be busy working. Dunno.

She is busy cashing the checks from her pr tour for the church...probably spiritual checks, but spiritual currency none the less.

I think she still is a member, and I think her nightly Vegas show keeps her from doing the fireside circuit. The church obviously doesn't mind since she's giving them plenty of tithing money due to the Vegas shows.

Last I heard from my Vegas friends is that she has NOT been to the temple.

She gave a performance here, I believe it was last spring (2013). From what I know, she led a choir and it was a performance/fireside. I didn't go.
