I just got my final "out" letter. I was a little disappointed that it was just two short paragraphs, one was an invitation to return again... but I am finally free!!!
It took just over 60 days... but this was the second time I tried the e-mail method. The first time, last year, didn't go anywhere, and this time I got it to go through.

I am going to keep them, but I don't know exactly what to do with them...I'm not going to display them, as I don't want to offend my TBM family...but I know I am going to keep them.
The other thing that I was able to do is deflect the meeting with the bishop. When his secretary called to see if he could meet with me, I let him know that "it would be an effort in futility, as I have already made up my mind." That prevented any more hounding of me by them, and I think may have sped up the process from the locals.
