The DNA test results I got from '23 and Me' says that I have 2.7% Neanderthal DNA. Somewhere along the line there was an interspecies rendezvous. The only thing is, Neanderthals went extinct more than 6000 years ago. WTF?

So the Neanderthals died out after mating with Adam and Eve's offspring? That's some serious STD right there.

I was told that the DNA was more pure then so it didn't matter if you got together with your sibling and created babies.

Such answers go along with the saying "nothing is impossible for God" so of course God made the DNA more pure and defect free. However, God still hated his people design especially the brain because the mind was flawed. Gid seems to never get the design right. The more I read and learn about Egyptian, Viking, German, Greek mythology the more the Bible could be seen as plagiarizing the old myths.

If the Bible is myth and it pretty much goes together with other myths of other cultures then there was probably a singular story from which it all springs.

If Eve was spliced from Adam's rib, they would have identical DNA (indeed, how would she have XX chromosomes?). If they had sex, then they would just be remixing Adam's original DNA. If their children married each other, it would be the same DNA mixed again.

How do you get any diversity in DNA if we all came from Adam?

I suspect they married neanderthals. I did my DNA with 23 and me. I'm 3.3% neanderthal (northern european) this puts me in the 99 percentile.
