Why would someone want that?
If you're a mo, everyone would know you're a thief.
If you're not a mo, why would you want it?

I would think resale value would be next to nothing once the word gets out that it's stolen goods.

After all, considering how much TSCC has stolen, I often wonder why more of their stuff isn't missing.

It's only worth what someone is willing to pay for it, although it wouldn't be surprising if some TBM out there coughed up the money. Look on ebay under "stolen Joseph Smith blankets".

You know the thief was Mormon. No one else would want a wall rug with a picture of some guy squatting in the forest.

You couldn't sell it on Pawn Stars or Storage Wars, that's for sure.

Was it really worth six thousand or was it insured for six thousand? It is only worth what one would pay for it.

I'm sure there's some TBM's out there who would pay that much for such an inspired piece of mormon art.

Probably a Mormon version of The Thomas Crown Affair.

Wonder if they have a quilt of Jesus in the office, too. Anyone who attended TSCC knows how much time they focus on the namesake of their so-called church.

Blahblah Joseph Smith blahblahblahblah Brother Joseph blahblahblah our beloved first prophet. InthenameofJESUSChristAmen.

I think I just figured it out.

I was one of two people.

Either the quilt maker, who would then collect the $$ for the gazillion hours they put into their masterpiece. OR

One of their children whose entire inheritance was given to the church via stacks of quilts.

How do they know that the Angel Moroni did not take it back like he did the plates?

He hung that crap up in the cave of records
