I was fortunate to be able to visit with Miss Girl for 24 hours this week.

We went out to buy BUSINESSWEEK to read "Inside the Mormon Empire" and we ate lunch in a park and of course, we drank a bottle of wine (what else?).

In closing, I testify boldly that she is real, she hears and answers jokes, and she loves us all unconditionally.

(Except for pricks, a**holes, idiots, trolls and TBMs)

(And Mitt Romney)

(And GAs, of course)

I'd be remiss if I didn't share my testimony of her. She and I have spent happy hours together in contemplation and giggles. No picnic lunches but good food, wine and fun at restaurants, pot lucks, and bars.

We saw Magic Mike!

How could I leave THAT part out? We sure did see Magic Mike - Channing's Tatum was unforgettable.

But shhhhhhhhh - I don't want Jim to know. (That way, I can see it again!)

But I must say I corrupted wine country girl when I saw her. I actually got her to drink a Belgian-style beer and LIKE it.

So, yeah, an open mind is another of her sterling attributes.
