Due to a crappy convergence of fire, loss of my phone, loss of headphones, and difficulty of getting music its been about eight months since Ive had full access to the stuff I like to listen too. One of my favorite types of music is punk, both irish and older style. Today i listened to "light of a fading star" by flogging molly for the first time since i began really investigating TSCC. One line made me a little queasy. "But if theres a reason, i dont need to know right now". Now, this song has nothing to do with the morg but that line just seems (to me) to represent the mormon delusion. The logic of "it will be revealed", and humans not needing to question. Needless to say, the song just dropped a few pegs in my list. Still a great song, but it reminds me too much of all the lies.
