Has anyone encountered the Facebook "Danites"?

Aside from full-time missionaries, a number of TBMs are constantly on patrol on the SLTrib FB and other pages, browbeating those who don't agree with the sanitized version of history or current events, then reporting those they've just browbeaten for "offensive content".

Is this actually some sort of grassroots movement, or just another example of Morg astroturfing?

They also run in packs in wikipedia, removing truths they dont like. They are the modern version of book burners. They would make the elite of george orwells 1984 proud.

A pack of Mormon zealots made nice with Jimbo Wales and his sex-cult cabal a number of years ago. Wikipedia is no longer a public project; everyone allowed to edit there more than a handful of times is "approved" by the cabal or their minions.

Wiki has banned the church of Scientology from making edits to Wiki pages because of this type of behavior.

Oh yeah, I've ran into some here and there. No point in engaging them... They dont play by any sort of rules, just resort to immature tactics.
