To have buy a laptop computer! My 24 year old Baby sister has hijacked the only computer we now have! She had to sell her computer to make her car payment. She's supposed to be going to CSI for college starting next month. I wonder who's paying for that?? I was reading the news when she comes in and tells me that she needs it. Excuse me?? I hadn't been all day while she watches her TV series " The Suite Life of Zach and Cody" all day and all night everyday. I don't think she's ready for college. Maybe going to work like a lot of her siblings did before her.

Sorry was so long, I needed to vent. I posted this from my cell phone.

I'm willing to bet that it was Baby Sister years ago who felt entitled to help herself to your DVD collection when you were at work.

Now, let's see. You missed your appointment with Perkins because she wouldn't drive you in her car....the same car for which she had to sell HER computer to make HER car note. Why on earth should you share your computer with such a selfish person? Time to password protect your computer.

Ah, different scenario than I pictured. Glad you have the phone then.

But when you do get your own laptop, I'd still suggest password protecting it.

(P.S.) Did I guess right about her being the one who would help herself to your DVD collection years back? I remember how much that distressed you.

Headed past your neck of the woods Aug. 7th. Not a laptop, but I can give you a computer, older Dell (I think Core Duo) and a LCD display.

There are some relatively inexpensive laptops out there -- in the $300-400 range. Look at Wal Mart, Office Depot, Staples and similar or online. If you get one with Windows 8 there is a bit of a learning curve, so you'll want to buy or borrow a handbook (I borrowed one from the local library.) I agree about password protecting it!
