I think that the issue with cleaning really defines what the morg had turned into.

It is appalling that, after expecting 10 percent of gross earning, huge amounts of time, members who pay for incidentals because the crutch is too cheap, that the morg makes the members clean the gawd damn church. It is fing incredible.

Not the least that the morg contributed to the lack of jobs by firing all the cleaners.

Mainstream protestant churches use the members money to provide services to the congregation. Cleaners are paid to do their job.

You know that the top dogs have had few or no reductions in the life style paid by the morg, while members keep on getting more rocks to roll up the hill.

The morg should be ashamed of the burden they put on members, but off course they market it as serving the crutch.

Wonderful thread. I spoke to a very young RS pres asking how the members cleaning the building was going. She was guarded in her answer with me as she knows I have resigned and why, but, inspite of her attempt to create a picture of roses, one of her comments said it all. We have to pick up the slack for those who do a lousey job and for the no-shows.
