Where did you serve your mission? This may be purely coincidence, but I had read your reply to the post about what missionaries can have and noticed you mentioned a family named Barraclough (not a common last name). Just about an hour later, a lady posted a comment on my SIL's facebook page and her last name is Barraclough!! She lives in Tennessee now, but her profile says she is from Flagstaff, Arizona. Any chance it could be the same family?

I served in the California East (Now California Arcadia) mission. This family lived in the Glendale area, just north of downtown L.A.

Although I was a Spanish speaking elder, we were often invited to eat with the anglo members.

Speaking of coincidences, I lived in Flagstaff and graduated from NAU after my mission. I still have relatives that live there, and go back at least once a year to visit.
