Judging by the picture, it appears the author may have Down's syndrome. It's hard to tell in such a tiny picture, though.

Agree. She most likely has Downs, which would account for her grammar and writing skills.

I believe that she has some kind of developmental disability.

The shame is that her life seems pretty much private other than her Mormon.org profile. She has a Facebook account and a MySpace account. It's obvious that she has people in her life who care about her. But if you didn't know her personally, you'd probably never come across her on the web.

But the Mormon church, in service to itself, has urged that she put her profile on their site for all the world to see. Some might consider that to be bullying behavior. This is a church which has no concept of personal privacy!

I feel bad too for this profile. Besides the awkward photo, the church is so interested in making a perfect image for itself, these type of profiles would never be used as a commercial or on the home page. It just reminds me how fake the church is.

I did NOT need to see that this morning. The illiteracy is bad enough, but the photo is hysterical. I wonder if someone put it up as a joke.

I hope no one is offended, but the photo makes her look almost as if she has Downs Syndrome.

Her face is pudgy, but I don't see that there is anything that would make me think there is any downs Syndrome. Seriously, it is a small picture with features distorted by the curvature of the wine glass.

If you put her name through Google Images, you can see other photos as well.

A lot of those profiles are really bad. B A D.

Most of the people sound like they were down and out and the LDS missionaries came along.

I read several profiles, and none of them seemed particularly compelling.

The LDS church ought to dump that site as it makes members look like Jethro Bodine types.

I wonder if some of these are actually real.
