Here is my definition of religious beliefs

The Believer says: "I do!"

The Atheist says: "I don't!"

The Agnostic says: "I don't know!"

There are, of course, various degrees within those very simple or even crude categorisations.

I don't know. But I believe in a few things still, for reasons which are based on at least partial evidence. But they are not things I can discuss on this forum.

But I don't fault or dislike people who don't believe. In one sense I trust them more because I don't think they are susceptible to making decisions based on superstitions.

And in my belief system (now) it simply does not matter what you believe or do not believe. But it does matter what you do and what you become. FYI.

...the agnostic says: "I can't commit."

...the agnostic says: "I'd rather have two sides holding out hope for me than have one side really hate me."
