With this huge, life-changing paradigm shift I'm going through right now, I'm very interested in reading about psychology and religion and how they interlink. Any and all religions/opinions welcome - the more diverse the better! Does anyone have any relevant recommendations?
Thanks in advance!

Psychology is subject to a lot of fads.

In the realm of psychology, I'd recommend David Buss's works. Here's an Amazon shortlink:

Buss is one of the few authors that can credibly cite sources and by scholastic while still maintaining a broad appeal outside of academic circles. Buss discusses the adaptive nature of religion to some extent, though the book is much more focused on psychology than on any religious/psychological link.

Check out Lyndon Lamborn's Standing for Something More. This autobiography weaves the experience of leaving Mormonism and psychology throughout.
