I got my testimony back thanks to help from the testimony glove!

This is the funny part:

"Royalties from the sale of this book assist in providing testimony gloves to children in developing countries."

Yep - that's exactly what those poor starving kids in Africa need - one glove.

Say, wasn't there some testimony given about J Edgar Hoover secretly using rubber gloves?

The ChurchCo message to all of us is that it helps us establish a gloving relationships with our heavenly father and with our family members.

It's all about sharing the glove...and washing it before sharing.

But seriously, I looked at that product and...the word that first came to mind is "deranged!" No, they aren't a cult. Not at all. They use creepy gloves to teach kids to bear testimonies about things that the kids know nothing about. But, hey, what's cult-like about that? Don't all parents put on creepy gloves indicating the five lies that the kids are supposed to bear testimony of? Well, don't they???

the one with the pig mother and the three little pigs that tell that particular story.

So... as usual... a mormon copies others' ideas.

We really should come up with some stupid faith-promoting idea and sell it to mos. We could make a fortune.

Look at the picture. When I first saw it, checked where dad's arm was and then looked at that forearm I was like: "Ahhh Monster" They summoned a demon or something. That forearm that is supposedly attached to that little girl has bulging veins and is ripped. Maybe that is what the glove does to you. I am afraid of this glove and its demonic powers.

Seriously?

The idea didn't event originate from the authors. It was picked up from anonymous and published in The Friend 3 years ago!

Original idea:
http://www.sugardoodle.net/Testimony/GLOVE.shtml

The church steals it:
http://lds.org/ldsorg/v/index.jsp?vgnextoid=21bc9fbee98db010VgnVCM1000004d82620aRCRD&locale=0&sourceId=1d2791ddb6b9c110VgnVCM100000176f620a____

Oaks starts "developing" a book around it:

People are acting the fools with this meme:

Seriously, if I were a missionary there I would be flipping the camera off with my Micheal Jackson hand.

I actually did flip off the camera for a goofy photo op on my mission.
