A hypothetical on prophets

Okay, so as much as I've researched and learned about Morgdom, there are some things that I'll never really understand due to never having been immersed in the madness. I was thinking about prophets and continuing revelation and the rule that the current prophet's word always overrules any former prophets, and that got me wondering...

What would happen if the current prophet got up, told the pulpit he was speaking AS A PROPHET, and then said the word of god was that there were no more living prophets and the church was a sham. I know this isn't going to happen, I'm just curious as to what the reaction would be to the anointed mouthpiece of god saying the church isn't true.
