If there was a layer of moisture dense enough to flood the entire earth, how did anything live in the intense darkness?
I mean, we've all seen the sky get almost as dark as night and have only a couple inches of rain fall from it, yet we'd have to assume that this thick layer lasted for a couple thousand years from the time of Adam until the flood. 2000 years with no sunlight and 100% humidity....uh, yeah.

how is it possible that people can be so outrageously ignorant? I've recently come across a term that is new to me - "virulent ignorance". Virulent ignorance is willfully believing in things one knows are false.

I like the Mormon argument that you can't hold apostles and prophets responsible for what they say, because they're just men.
