I live near Portland Oregon and I was listening to "Mark and Dave" on KEX yesterday driving home. Their topic was about parents searching their kids rooms. They had parents calling in about it. They asked the parents what they used to hide from their parents when they were kids.

One guy said he dated a Mormon girl in high school and she gave him a Book of Mormon (hoping to convert him). He had no interest in the book, just her, so he hollowed out the pages and used it to stash his....well, his stash. He said that was one place he knew his parents would never look....they had no interest at all in his Book of Mormon.

I thought that was pretty funny and clever of him.

On the other hand, it may be the book most likely to result in your valuables being thrown away, due to that same uselessness.

hmmm have to make sure those BoMs in the recycle bin are
always empty! Who knows what I'll find?!
