Murder is worse than sex with a whore but not by much

So where is masturbation in the hierarchy of proximity to murder?

It is inappropriate giving of life - to yourself?

Sex with a whore is "next to" murder because recreational sex with animals, postmenopausal women, or homosexual sex is just as offensive to God and there are other lives involved in the inappropriate giving. Now technically sex with a whore is not really giving but paying for the ability to inappropriately give life. That doesn't sound much like giving to me.

On the other hand, polygamist sex with a 14 year old girl is perfectly ok in God's Book of Life. It is appropriate giving of life.

And for an appropriate example of taking of life note Nephi's beheading Laban.
