the BoM . . . finally understood

Having watched the Book of Mormon (on youtube in horrible quality) I understand much more than i might have before.

The musical does an absolutely mind numbingly succinct job of conveying WHY people subsribe to a faith, and WHY other's try to get them to do so.

all at the same time as being terribly funny.

But I digress .. . . . .

The reviews are telling. The creators of this show are making money hand over fist from people who are just attending to a) see a great show and or b) learn "something about Mormonism" (keep i mind i KNOW it is not a treatise on mormon theology but it IS very spot on regarding culture)

My take? For what it's worth? The world (and I say world only because of recent reviews of U.K.) are viewing mormonism more as a curiousity than a way to live one's live.


Enjoy your faith, embrace it . . .or not. . . but Do NOT let someone else dictate what it should be.
