This is my pet peeve : A missionary who takes ownership. For years one of the missionary who taught me the “gospel” used to introduce me as his “Convert”. HIS CONVERT! Like I was some sort of trophy or scalp or moose head. It was always embarrassing and degrading to me. He is a Salt Lake City Utah Mormon, a real know it all, and holier than thou type. He was so full of himself and acted like we, in the “mission field” need his guidance. What a jerk! Of the four people whom he was involved in conversions here in the “mission field” I was the last man standing. The rest left years ago. Now none of us are in the Church. This jerk want to friend on Face Book . I haven’t told him that I’m out. Should I.. and Should I unleash on this douche ?

Yeah, let him know, he is objectifying you. He needs a wake up call.

Not only let him know...but return and report what happens :)

The outcome probably won't be satisfying, but it might still be worth it to speak your mind. The guy is probably a jerk right down to his DNA, but we would love to hear what you have to say to him.

At least share with him the part about all his converts.

If it helps to get it out of your system then by all means, unload. what do you have to lose?
