Hey all,

Songwriting is a major outlet for me. Wanted to share the lyrics to a song I'm writing about leaving TSCC. It's going to have a Katy Perry/Demi Levato feel.

"My New Reality"

What is normal, what is right?
I tried to call it love
Until I saw the light
My walls crumbled, I am free
I can live the life that's
calling out to me

Feel it all around me
Let go of the chains
Acceptance will be my key
Cause judgment never gains

Love
This is where it's at
I choose Love
I'm never going back
Eyes wide open I can see
This is how it's supposed to be
No more fake conformity
Loves my new reality

Unrestrained, I've come undone
I've drawn outside the lines
A new day has begun
Wounds exposed, vulnerable
The pain is raw and yet
It's oh so beautiful

Boundaries removed
No more rules to box me in
Experience has proved
That love will always win

Love
This is where it's at
I choose Love
I'm never going back
Eyes wide open I can see
This is how it's supposed to be
No more fake conformity
Love's my new reality

They tried to cage me
They tried to tell me what to do
Well they failed to "save" me
When I found out the truth

Love
This is where it's at
I choose Love
No, I'm never going back
Eyes wide open I can see
This is how it's supposed to be
No more fake conformity
Love's my new reality
Love's my new reality

And that's just how it's gonna be
