What would be worse than some minor proof the myths of the BOM had some truth in them?
If liar Smith has left out the gold/silver, large buildings and said there were other people in the land. We would be hosed. It is a good thing smith loved to lie.
My electronic perusals of plowed lands in Italy often turned up stacks of fused silver-clad coins mostly of the denarius variety.
When construction work is mounted all over Europe, the diggers pull up jars of Roman coins, likely buried by soldiers on a mission with hopes of future retrieval (no banks in the goodle days.)
Will some mopologist pls give us an explanation of why no hordes or even a single issue of Alma's famous coinage have ever been dug.
Hopefully, their explications will be more convincing than the tapirs for horses one.
