It seams to me that the budget for Relief Society and Young Women used to be bigger. Does anyone know if they have cut it back? In the 90ties we got girls camp for almost free if I remember all we had to pay was $25 per girl and the ward payed the rest. We did do one fundraiser a bake sale that was very small and didn't bring in much money.
RS used to have free once a month activities were cards and other things were being made. Now there is once a year a "Super Saturday" and people have to pay for what they want to make. But it is hard to tell maybe I was in a crafty ward and moved into a not crafty ward. The last ward I have attended they used the same people over and over. I do see more working mothers than I have seen before and they are getting less "trouble" for it.
