My four year old had no idea who Jesus was

So my four year is my youngest child. We left TSCC when he was two and still in nursery so he doesn't remember anything. The other day I picked him up from preschool and he starts talking about what his teacher was telling the class.

He asks me, "Have you heard about that guy that died?"
I'm a little concerned. "No, what guy?"
"That guy that died but came back to life."
I start thinking about people in the news. Did someone stop breathing for a while? I say, "No, I haven't heard of him."
He says, "Oh, well he is the guy that makes hot cross buns and Easter eggs."

Ok. I clicked after that but didn't bother to correct him. I'm thinking that his teacher must of mentioned the story of Jesus and said this is why we have hot cross bubs and Easter eggs.

Lol. "That guy"

Tommy doesn't know what day it is.....

He doesn't know who Jesus was or what praying is.

How can he be saved from the eternal grave?

You beat me to it randy. I have that album, and I love it to bits. I've been listening to it since the age of fourteen. Townsend's cynical look at new religions and personality cults was ahead of its time.

My kids have no idea and since we live in Taiwan, then I'm sure they will first learn about him in a world religion class in a university.
