I'm waiting for my doctor to call me tomorrow with my test results. I've been pretty sick for over a month and found a lump in my neck today. Doctor took blood tests and said I may need a chest X-ray and neck ultrasound,

I need some humorous distraction from my RfM friends. I'm trying not to over react or anything else, but I can't stop thinking about some of the possibilities that the doctor brought up today. I don't think sleep will be happening on my part.

Give me some humorous jokes, links, etc.. please.

The "Blockbuster Late Fees" link is also a win. Thanks for this site recommendation, Beth.

If all else fails, there are always puppies and kittens. :)

Here are some adorable all-American pups:

I hope that everything goes your way, Fidget.

I spent a worrisome week a year ago after the doc told me the spots on my lung x-ray were either scar tissue or cancer. It was awful. I had to wait for more test results.

They were scar tissue from a bout with pneumonia some time ago.

Hang in there and expect the best. No point in spending your time worrying until you know if it's something to worry about. Best of luck.

In the meantime, watch this - put it on fullscreen and watch for meteorites:

A lawyer was just waking up from anesthesia after surgery, and his wife was sitting by his side. His eyes fluttered open and he said, "You're beautiful!" and then he fell asleep again. His wife had never heard him say that so she stayed by his side.

A couple of minutes later, his eyes fluttered open and he said, "You're cute!" Well, the wife was dissapointed because instead of "beautiful," it was "cute." She asked, "What happened to 'beautiful'?" His reply was "The drugs are wearing off!"

Just an anesthesia joke. I found that laughing really helps me when I am in the middle of another medical crisis.

Ah, Fidge, I'm holding good thoughts for you.

You might have seen these pictures already, but the cute factor is high with this puppy and his human brother during their daily nap together.

But I've sat cooling my heels for medical tests for days and weeks on end and know what it's like.

Sending you good thoughts and as much patience as possible. Take care and be of good cheer if you can.

Well. I'm being scheduled for a neck ultrasound and chest X-ray tomorrow, then possibly a CT scan after that.

Wish me luck RfM?

Luck to you, Fidget. Hang in there. At least none of those tests sound painful.

Yes not too painful yet. Doc said depending on the others a biopsy could be in order.

Thanks for the luck, vines, and funnies you guys :)
