Please excuse my liquid-courage fueled advance from a few nights ago - it wasn't my intention to come off that way.

That said, your post read familiar. The dating scene for the 30-somethings is interesting to say the least. Mix in the desire to be understood (for me) in terms of this mormon reality we've had to deal with and yeah, connections are hard to come by.

So the intention of my previous post was to reach out in hopes that I could connect with someone who would at the least understand both my mormon history and dating reality.

With that cleared up, my offer still stands. I think it would be good for us like-minded people to connect. At the least, feeling understood is a good feeling.

Respectfully,

A non-hideous, mostly non-awkward, yet maybe kinda weird Truth B Told

PS - using my real nic on here cuz I don't ever do this - just had a feeling (aka the spirit??)

Being in the wedding business has revealed to me one thing which I find interesting concerning TBMs and other religions.
Several religions have dating web sites where they do matchmaking based on same religion: Christians have Christiandating.com (or something like that); Jewish have Jdate.com; Buddhists have one etc.
Why doesn't TSCC? Or is BYU the substitute for that? Many do go there for MRS degrees.
Perhaps Ex-Mos should have a dating site too?
