Did anyone besides me ever hear the tale of the secret room in the SLC Temple that could only be opened from the inside? Apparently it was there for when God wanted to talk to his prophet face-to-face. I was just thinking about that, and I imagined this scenario from a few years back. GBH is sitting in the temple and the door opens. GBH enters the holy of holies.

GBH: “Yes, Lord. What truth would you have me reveal to your children?”
God: “I was thinking about ear piercings. I’m cool with girls having one per ear, but no more. Guys shouldn’t have any.”
GBH: “I will tell your people, Lord. By the way, if you don’t mind me asking, why couldn’t blacks have the priesthood for nearly a century and a half?”
God: “That’s a different subject for a different day. Just get the word out about ear piercings. Oh, and no tattoos.”
GBH: “As you wish, Lord.”

Why does god need a secret room? Isn't he god? I mean, couldn't he just set a bush on fire or bury golden plates or something? Sounds completely unnecessary.
