Nice touch.... dont demand evidence from the people making extraordinary woo woo claims (even if they are often *demonstrably* wrong) ---- Instead, question the motives and resources of the people who ask for reasonable evidence.
Does randi make a living off of being a skeptic? well, he does have another skill, as a talented and well respected magician.
Randi has a track record of demonstrating that some of the supernatural claimants are liars and frauds. Peter Popoff is one spectacular example of a fraud debunked by Randi.
Every one of the (apparently) supernatural feats that Uri Geller has ever done, has been replicated by Randi.
Randi does his feats by lies, misdirection and trickery. He will tell you this to your face
Obviously he cannot be trusted like dear Sylvia B, who never, ever told anyone she lied or used tricks
The Randi challenge is designed so that each person who makes a claim agrees beforehand what would constitute a 'winning' claim.
It is not open to Randi, or anyone else to simply turn down a 'winning' claim.
The million dollar prize is often challenged by gullible believers like yourself.... people who are immersed in the woo.
Unfortunately - like a lot of other things you believe - the million dollar fund has been shown, proven and the gullible naysayers have been debunked.
