... Watch the temple endowment? From an LDS perspective

I mean this, in the sense that, if they saw the temple endowment, do Mormons believe that they have sinned? Are they subject to any penalties like the Mormons who share it may be? Or is it just that they are rude but innocent, since they might not understand how sacred it is to the Mormons?

If a non-Mormon became a Mormon, what would the church expect?

From an LDS literal perspective the temple ceremony is preceded by a stern statement "the violation of [these covenants] will bring upon you the judgments of God...for God will not be mocked". One of the several covenants is to not reveal key parts of the ceremony.
So, as a TBM I would have believed that a nonmember was less culpable than an "endowed" member who was under oath, for viewing the ceremony. But, it would depend on intention. If he/she was an antimormon intentionally exploiting access to the ceremony then God would get'em. If it was a hapless naive nonmember who didnt know what was going on God woulnt care...except perhaps to go after who was responsible for the leak.

The emotion a mormon has when the temple ceremony is desicrated is akin to seeing your mom or grandma in Playboy if you can imagine it. To this day I absolutely avoid discussing the temple with TBMs knowing its a sore subject in ways some people may never have experienced.
