Teaching moment with the kids

So the grandparents are late to a Sunday dinner appointment at our house. Grandma calls and says they are running late because grandpa is clerking and counting the money. No problem, we are just getting things prepped.

So I pipe up to the kids. "This is the most important part of church. Get their money, count it and run to the bank. Get their money, count it and run to the bank. Get their money, count it and run to the bank."

They just look at me in the usual 'dad is really weird' look.

Hopefully it will sink in subliminally.
